Tips for achieving beautiful skin.
1. Eat healthy foods!
Veggies are full of nutrients like antioxidants, vitamins C and E, beta-carotene, flavonoids and much more. The deeper the color of the vegetable, the more nutrients you'll get.
Legumes the nutrients of beans help neutralize the damaging compounds that harm your skin and prevent skin damage and signs of aging.
Fruits are the antioxidant powerhouses! Blueberries, blackberries, and watermelon are excellent choices, very rich in vitamin C
Fish the fat & amino acids in fish are great for the skin!
& limit sugar, it is the skin devil.
Getting all sorts of nice face washes from drug stores, bath stores or other place work great, but they come with an extra cost, so you probably would only want to use these on your face in the morning. I suggest one that is quite coarse, so scrub away all dead skin cells (also softens the skin!)
A great recipe for an all over body scrub and to use on your face, & especially hands, feet, arms is:
Sugar and lemon juice, that's right, you probably have both those ingrediants in your fridge right now. Take about a half to a cup of sugar (depending on how much skin you want to exfoliate) maybe less if its just your hands or face. Add just enough lemon juice to make a paste, not to dry but not too runny. rub it all over the area you want to exfoliate. If you have any open wounds you most likely wont wanna put it there, unless you're desperate.
3. Moisturize, moisturize, moisturize!!!
Get a moisturizer for your face, apply every morning under make-up or if you don't wear any, just as is (men also!) and wash your face at night and apply again to sleep! This will avoid any wrinkles that can come at a later date than usual.
